Recommendation:
During 3rd & 4th Sept with L/Cpl Coulter, he worked continuously keeping on
when others were exhausted. He showed conspicuous courage and bravery. Not
once, but again & again did he attend to wounded under heavy shell fire &
brought them safely out of it. His splendid example stimulated the other
bearers and caused them to put forward fresh efforts which finally resulted in
the successful evacuation of all our wounded.
